Terms of use

Draft — this page is a stub, not finalized legal terms. It states facts already true about how the service works today; it is not a reviewed or binding terms-of-use document yet.

What's true today

The JSON repair tool on this site runs entirely in your browser — nothing you paste is sent anywhere. The /api/repair endpoint is free and unauthenticated; request bodies are processed in memory and discarded, not stored. See llms.txt for the full, current API contract (limits, error codes, and what the engine does and doesn't repair).

No warranty

datatool.dev is provided as-is, free of charge, with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. The repair engine refuses rather than guesses on ambiguous input, but you're responsible for verifying output before relying on it in production.

Still to come

Formal terms (liability limits, acceptable use, governing law) are pending review and will replace this page once finalized.
